In Frøya, Norway, we hold approved licenses for sea cage production, with another site application currently awaiting approval. Amar Seafood has acquired three licenses in total, allowing for a maximum capacity of 2,350 tonnes. As production at the site gradually scales up, we plan to make full use of this capacity.
Krutøya also serves as a research and development facility, where our focus is on expanding sea cage production of whitefish. The new farm will further function as a testing ground for innovative equipment and operational solutions, supporting continuous improvements in production efficiency and sustainability.
At Tømmervåg, Norway, we operate a grow-out facility for Atlantic Halibut. The site became operational in 2026, with the first fish now in the tanks, marking an important step in scaling our halibut production in Norway.
Strategically located close to our existing operations in Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal, Tømmervåg adds both capacity and flexibility to our value chain. With solid infrastructure and further development potential, the facility provides a strong platform for expanding production in a structured and scalable way.
At our Prince Edward Island facility in Canada, we operate a land-based aquaculture site breeding both Atlantic Halibut and Spotted Wolffish from our own broodstock. The facility benefits from access to deep saltwater wells, allowing us to deliver high-quality HOG fish directly to market. With 5,000 acres of farmland available for land-based aquaculture, this site offers ample room for future expansion.
